Congratulations! We’d love to do everything we can to make your wedding day and your marriage a roaring success. To enquire about a wedding at St Barnabas, please contact the office by filling in our online enquiry form.
Please be aware there is a delay between receiving the enquiry and approving the wedding date, and dates are not secured until a deposit is received. We are also unable to offer weddings unless you have a qualifying connection which you can find out about here.
Basic wedding fees are fixed across the country and can be found here.

We regularly host Baptism Sundays for anyone in our church who wants to make a public declaration of their faith in Jesus. If you’re interested in being baptised, talk to our Vicar Sam or fill in our online enquiry form
If you’re looking for infant baptisms, see the Christening tab below.

As a Church of England church, we offer christenings for children. If you would like to enquire about having your child christened with us, please fill in our online enquiry form.
Please be aware that we are only able to offer Christenings for families who live in the Parish of Hattersley or who worship at St Barnabas.
Infant baptism is about bringing your child into the church community and promising to raise them as a Christian, with the help, love, support, and prayers of the rest of the church. Therefore the church need to get to know you and your family. As such, if you'd like a Christening, and do not currently worship at St Barnabas, you will need to come to Sunday worship for at least three Sundays, before a date for the Christening is set.
